Corporate Sales department is responsible for managing all corporate client sales for Dunnes Stores.

Dunnes Stores Corporate Department runs a leading Gift Card Program selling to B2C customers, online through e-gift and also through B2B channels.  Corporate Gift Cards provide unique opportunities for rewarding and recognising colleagues, clients, marketing agencies and also friends or family. They also play a vital role to help serve our communities and vulnerable customers through facilitating charity and dignity requirements.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to work in conjunction with the existing team to support B2B growth projects within the gift card programme and other innovations, including:

Responsibilities: 

  • Developing sales pipeline - sourcing, and converting leads to profitable sales
  • Create sales relationships with new and prospect target companies and sectors
  • Work towards B2B sales agreed annual sales targets
  • Work closely with head of department as technology, ecommerce and customer engagement projects and programmes move from ideation, testing and live solutions.
  • Manage day to day requirements around CRM (MS Dynamics)
  • Work with internal and external partners
  • Support store engagement for B2B and B2C products from corporate sales
  • Awareness of industry advancements and ensuring Dunnes Stores maintains a competitive edge in the market to delight our clients and customers
  • Utilising CRM for communication, marketing and client growth
  • Any other growth strategy tasks required by the department

The desired candidate must be organised, meticulous and have the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will work closely with head of department as well as, internal and external partners and stakeholders to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of all administrative and project duties for the corporate sales department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, account management, and customer engagement in retail, hospitality or FMCG.
  • High level of proficiency across all Microsoft tools and Dynamic CRM is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in working with high value corporate customers in retail or hospitality is preferable
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work well with colleagues across all departments as well as stores.
  • Organised, with excellent attention to detail and thorough delivery.
  • Ability to think creatively and generate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Capability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
