We currently have a vacancy for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team based in our Head Office in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing professional to join a dynamic team in a competitive and fast paced retail environment. The successful applicant will work closely with the marketing team on the development, delivery & evaluation of current POS process, develop proposals to address/exploit & execute agreed plans.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Includes management of all Seasonal and Event POS & New Brand launches ( Examples include  Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day ,Easter, Halloween,) for main range and brands across Textiles and Grocery.
  • Manage relationship with printers and oversee the orders & fulfilment process
  • Manage POS creative approval process with departments - Managing POS planning & store allocation in conjunction with Textile and Grocery Store Operations.
  • Creative briefing & development-Briefs graphic design team on all POS and print requirements.
  • Budget management-Manages the point-of sale budget in line with overall marketing budget. Work closely with the finance function to ensure budget process is managed efficiently from quote to invoice resolution.
  • Manage the Dunnes Stores “Owned”  outdoor advertising  sites (including store windows, digital Screens, HO windows and reception panels)
  • Responsible for Campaign management including timely changeover in line with seasons and for management  of the creative development and print process and budgets
  • Digital – support the implementation of digital initiatives including website management and email marketing ,social media and search campaigns to drive business and brand objectives.
  • Agency Relationships-Work with the marketing team on the development of Advertising, PR, Media and Digital briefs and plans.
  • Competitor monitoring and analysis – Maintain a database of competitor activity which is regularly shared with the business and used to feed into activity planning. Present ideas for future development.

 About you:

  • Degree qualification in marketing, business or related industry
  • Ideally have previous marketing experience in FMCG or retail industry
  • You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a busy and dynamic team
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and you put forward new and innovative ideas
  • You will have a good understanding of what digital & content marketing works well on social platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure flawless execution and delivery
