Store Events Executive

We are currently recruiting for for a Store Marketing Executive to join our dynamic and fast paced Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Includes management end-to-end of all store events promoting different departments, brands, new product launches, books etc. Across food, fashion, homewares and beauty
  • Wil be the main point of liaison between the stores, the marketing department and other relevant departments including customer care and store operations as it relates to the event.
  • Sourcing the necessary equipment including any audio visual required for the event
  • Liaising with visual merchandising in-stores to help support bringing the event to life briefing them in advance on any input required and sharing any relevant creative direction with them.
  • Managing the development and the production of the creative assets required to support the successful promotion of the event  including POS, digital and social content, store tannoy, In App messaging, local emails as well as  third party e.g. social media channels for shopping centres etc
  • Working closely the Print Production manager in marketing to manage costs and timelines with printers and oversee the orders & fulfilment process
  • Manage creative approval process with stores and departments – liaising with stores and marketing to manage approval process
  • Creative briefing & development-Briefs graphic design team on digital, POS and any other design requirements.
  • Event Tracker – tracking events and all requests for these  in one document across departments, seasonal events, grocery and textiles throughout the calendar year
  • Budget management-. Work closely with the finance function to ensure budget process is managed efficiently for each event.
  • Responsible for Event project management including allocation of all relevant resources e.g. design , print , social, visual merchandising
  • Brain storm and concept including bringing this to life on social to share with wider online community  
  • Agency Relationships-Work with the marketing team and agencies where required to bring larger events or in-store activities to life e.g. store launch or new store refurbishment
  • Competitor monitoring and analysis – Maintain a database of competitor activity which is regularly shared with the business and used to feed into activity planning. Present ideas for future development.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualification in marketing, business or related industry
  • Ideally have previous marketing event experience in FMCG or retail industry
  • You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a busy and dynamic team
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and you put forward new and innovative ideas
  • You will have a good understanding of what digital & content marketing works well on social platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure flawless execution and delivery
