As our centralised ordering function rolls out to a wider range of fresh food product groups, we currently have a vacancy for a Store Demand Planner to join our Store Replenishment Team. Based the heart of Dublin at our Head Office, this is an exciting opportunity to join an influential and high powered team which is a critical part of the transformation and growth of our business.

This team is central to our grocery operations as they strategically manage the end to end flow of our fresh food products, ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be joining an already established and successful replenishment team which is constantly looking for ways to improve.

You will become responsible for your own defined product section within the assortment; ordering and allocating daily whilst developing an expert understanding of category performance within an ever changing daily, weekly and seasonal sales pattern.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and availability through effective end to end supply and demand planning, from ordering through our suppliers to allocation to our stores.
  • In depth analysis of historical sales, market trends, promotional activity and seasonality to improve individual product forecast to positively impact on shelf availability.
  • Daily review of sales and waste patterns on a store and item specific level to improve business KPI’s.
  • Analysis of sales & stock availability figures to determine where performance is under or over achieving in comparison with forecast and determining the appropriate actions to correct it.
  • Facilitate successful new product launches, promotions and seasonal events.
  • Form strong relationships with our Store Management, Buying Teams and Suppliers to deliver the best possible service for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Proactive team player who is results driven with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills (in particular working knowledge of Excel).
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through scenarios to come up with a logical solution.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with high self-motivation.
  • Experience in a retail based, supply chain environment.
